**Junior Graphic Designer**

**Position Details**

**Salary Range**: £21,000 - £23,500 DOE

**Employment Classification**:12-month contract with the potential of renewal.

**Position Summary**

MSDUK is the UK’s leading non-profit membership organisation driving inclusive procurement. To support an ambitious growth plan we are recruiting a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.

We are looking for a bright, proactive, creative Junior Graphic Designer with strong technical skills to support our marketing team.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Junior Graphic Design**:

- Supporting the development of designs such as media packs, social media and web assets, and for large format print.
- Ability to clearly understand and interpret team briefs.
- Creating digital and print collaterals in line with brand guidelines.
- Creation of Banners, posters, graphics etc.
- Assisting marketing team with e-newsletter, e-flyers design, and creation.
- Supporting the delivery of campaigns specifications by your line manager.

**Key Accountabilities**

**Marketing**:

- Develop and produce assets for _e
- flyers, e-newsletters_ (in MailChimp), sponsorship brochure, annual impact reports.
- Creation of Banners, posters, graphics for MSDUK events, conferences & programmes.
- Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software keeping in line with MSDUK branding.
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
- Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics.
- Put together elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary.
- Ensuring that design work is aligned with other methods of communication.

**Key Selection Criteria**

**Specialist Knowledge and Attributes**:

- 1-2 years’ experience.
- A commitment to supplier diversity.
- A graphic design degree or other relevant qualification.
- Strong design skills, focused on graphic, digital, and large print advertising design.
- Excellent software skills Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign to create designs is essential.
- Strong project management and being highly organised is essential to success in this role.
- Video and animation skills would be a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
