Production Operative

Job Title**:Production Operative**

Our client has become one of the largest manufacturers both within the UK and overseas and is subsequently looking to expand its Production Team.
- 4 Day working week
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00-16:30pm
- £11.34 per hour - weekly pay
- Full time 40 hours per week

We would expect the successful labourer to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of industrial practices, be an excellent communicator and have a strong work ethic. You will be supported to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within warehouses, an industrial setting or a manual labouring position.

**Duties**
- General warehouse duties
- Using power tools
- sanding
- measuring materials
- cleaning/House keeping of work areas throughout your shift
- machine operating
- Quality checking
- capable of heavy lifting
- Packing and Wrapping
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products
- Prepare and package products for shipment
- Operate various warehouse equipment
- Follow safety policies and procedures

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
