**Job Title: Accommodation Housekeeper**

**Salary: £23,150 to £23,893 per annum pro rata**

**Contract: Permanent**

**Hours: 9 hours (3 Hours per day between 9 am - 4pm)**

***Location: George Nickling House, Colburn, Near Catterick Garrison**

We are looking for an Accommodation Housekeeper, who will provide a high quality, effective cleaning service to ensure a clean and hygienic environment of temporary accommodation

Our Service

Offering Housing advice and assistance to all persons that present to the Local Authority requiring housing assistance.

The role

As our next Accommodation Housekeeper, you will be a critical member of the team, you will provide cleaning and reporting for maintenance services in a variety of settings including temporary accommodation, dispersed accommodation, houses in multiple occupation and apartments.

You will also:

- Maintain good health and safety practices, in line with COSHH regulations
- Maintain product stock levels and report to appropriate accommodation officer when more needs ordering to ensure levels do not run out
- Answer guests queries when requested or direct to appropriate person
- Complete work projects, including laundry when required, and as assigned by management
- Report maintenance requests or concerns about condition on a timely basis as required by accommodation policies and procedures
- The role also involves some physical activities such as moving of furniture and beds where required.

What you will bring

You will have experience of cleaning and working with vulnerable customers, within their homes, be self-motivated with a flexible approach, punctual and have ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level and be able to facilitate own travel between accommodation projects.
