We are currently looking for a Cleaner who can join our team to work for the RCT Council. To provide a high quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins in accordance with Council recycling procedures, cleaning and polishing surfaces.

Role: Cleaner

Location: Sobells Leisure Centre, Aberdare

Rate of Pay: £11.59 per hour weekly pay

Job Responsibilities:

- To clean designated areas to approved standard.
- To ensure bin's are emptied and removed to suitable storage in line with the
Council's recycling policy.
- To ensure COSHH regulations on the use of storage and use of chemicals and use
of protective clothing and equipment.
- To ensure there is adequate supplies e.g. toilet rolls and paper towels in relevant
areas.
- Monitor facilities and report any incidents i.e. repairs needed to vacuum
cleaners/stores required.
- Completion of paperwork where appropriate.

**Experience**:

- Ability to demonstrate the use of appropriate cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- Ability to work in an organised and methodical way
- Positive approach to customer care and service delivery
