Medtronic has developed a new Emerging Talent programme (ETP) which provides an opportunity for individuals from diverse educational backgrounds to pursue a career in healthcare Technology.
This intense 12-month programme has been designed to offer a structured Training & Education pathway to support your professional development in becoming a qualified Technical Consultant (TC) for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Business.

The Emerging Talent Programme will ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the clinical and business settings to become a highly skilled and highly specialised individual. Following the successful completion of the programme, you will become an independent, customer facing Technical Consultant and an integral part of UK and Ireland Team.

**A Day in the Life**

12-month training will include, but not be limited to
- Shadowing TC’s into hospital Cath Labs to observe devices implant procedures.
- Attending on-line and virtual training modules and meetings.
- Hands-on training, as well as regular assessments with dedicated trainers/mentors.
- Completing assignments independently or collaboratively with your ETP colleagues.
- Occasional - national and possible international traveling will be required for training purposes.

Following completion of the Emerging Talents Programme you will be able to:

- Provide daily technical support on Ablation Technologies; specifically, Cryoablation, Radio-Frequency and Pulse Field Ablation Technologies.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve during clinical cases in the Catheter Lab.
- Work together with the accounts manager to discover and drive commercial opportunities and introduce new products.
- Show interest in the patient and physician’s needs and propose a Medtronic solution.
- Proactively manage your diary to support customers and fulfil their training needs.

**Must Haves**
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree ideally but not limited to a BSc, in engineering, Biomedical science or science/clinical related degree
- 0 to 3 years professional experience
- Fluent in English
- Full UK driving license
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven
- Willing to travel with occasional overnight stay and may include some unsociable hours
- Core desire to help patients by providing healthcare solutions

- Desire to self-develop and learn technical information at a high level
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for people, innovation, and medical technology
- Demonstrate integrity, ethics, and respect
- Experience within clinical environments preferred
