This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a real passion for adventure travel and fantastic sales skills to join our team in Newcastle.

We are looking to expand our sales team as our company goes through an exciting growth period as demand for travel is at a record high

**How do the current team describe this role?**
- “I am a member of the sales team here at Artisan Travel Company, we have a nice working environment with good management and assistance when needed. Constant reviews to assist in further development of skills as well as incentives to promote further sales. Everyone within the team has experience of our destinations as regular FAM trips are arranged for staff to visit the destinations we sell. One of the most rewarding things about working as a member of the sales team is making client’s bucket list holidays happen.”_

**What does a Travel Sales Assistant do?**
- Responding to customer’s initial enquiries
- Answer phone calls / Online Chats and gather information or take messages
- Provide updates to customers
- Uploading information into our CRM
- Following up on enquiries that have previously travelled to encourage future bookings
- Following up on customer satisfaction surveys
- Allocate qualified enquiries to the Travel Experts
- **Work closely with the Travel Experts to ensure a seamless service for our customers**

Due to the nature of the holidays we sell it is very important to have an in-depth understanding of the destinations and holiday types. Training on this will be given prior to starting the role however we find nothing compares to first-hand knowledge and as such from time to time you will be required to visit our destinations to build up your own personal experiences.
- PASSION FOR TRAVEL :)
- Preferably experience in a sales admin or appointment booking role
- A confident communicator who can work well under pressure
- Ability to manage own workload in a busy office environment
- A positive and enthusiastic person with exceptional attention to detail
- High level of IT literacy (primarily Microsoft office and willingness to learn our booking system)

Our feedback score from our guests who travel is awesome and really reflects this (Our NPS from our current winter season is 75) and we are excited about expanding our current team to continue to grow our business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
