Adecco have an opportunity to join a global client, working in the medical field.

Title: Lab Assistant

Pay: £13.80

Location: Northwood

Duration: 12 months initially (potential to be extended)

Hours: 37.5hrs

Your Skills and Experience:

- You'll ideally have experience within Shipping / Warehousing along with experience of packaging sensitive materials
- Experience in the "Good Manufacturing Practice" Methodologies would be highly advantageous
- Training in Dangerous Goods Handling / Shipments would be extremely beneficial

Daily Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Type A containers and regulatory documentation for shipment of radiopharmaceuticals to ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations
- Routine shipment of dangerous goods in accordance with cGMP and site SOP's to ensure adherence to ADR regulations
- Liaising with couriers and customers to ensure timely deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals to customer sites.
- Responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of shipping laboratory.
- Work to a shift pattern for manufacturing according to customer demands and business needs including weekends.
- Assist in facility preparation for MHRA and EA inspections where required.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables required for the shipment of dangerous goods are maintained.
- Provide administrative support with archiving of documentation, materials control and other tasks where required.
- Work with other PETNET staff to ensure alignment of operational processes and back up capabilities across all PETNET sites.
- Operation of our cyclotron particle accelerator.
