A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Medical Devices Training Team as the Medical Devices Education Coordinator. The post holder will be responsible for the management, coordination & training of medical devices & medical gases training across the organisation. Acting as a specialist within the Trust to support operational staff to use medical devices and medical gases.

Detailed knowledge using training management systems for training records.

The Medical Devices Education Coordinator will work within the Medical Devices Training Team, with the responsibility to manage and support the Medical Devices Education Facilitator.
- Day to day administration and set up of the medical devices training / assessment databases.
- Manage staff lists, records and assessment documents.
- Support clinical staff to access training / assessment to support safe usage of medical devices.
- Liaising with suppliers to provide training on medical devices.
- Reporting on Trust-wide compliance of medical device training and audit.
- Liaising with the Medical Devices Safety Officer and Medical Electronics on medical device user error related incidents and reporting learning.
- Responsible for the Medical Devices Training Policy.

- To manage the co-ordination & delivery of medical devices / medical gases education.
- Responsible for the continuing development of Trust Wide Systems for medical device training management, and the practical implementation of the processes.
- Responsible for the management & the development of the medical device’s user software program.
- To document all related processes to ensure standardised operating procedures across the directorates.
- Devise and develop medical devices training programmes.
- To provide specialist advice and act as a resource to all members of the multidisciplinary teams Trust Wide in relation to medical devices.
