**Key Accountabilities**

Your role is to help M&S drive sales and profit in its Cards & Wrap business, deliver its strategy and be successful, so we need hard workers and big thinkers. We are an ambitious team, who are part of one of the biggest retail transformations in history, building a bigger, better, food business

**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- To own and deliver all **“**all year round**”** and seasonal events for the total card and wrap, party, and tableware business for M&S
- Drive sales and profit in line with operating plan budgets, ensuring historical sales are reviewed to handle product mix and deliver projects
- Drive market share performance through several market platforms sources
- Lead category team in delivery of objectives and setting the strategy
- Lead relationship with suppliers and merchandising teams through effective commercial management
- Ensure quality and price matrix is up to date and in line with the market and range to deliver the best value for customers
- Drive efficiency improvements with supply base and deliver cost out
- Compliance with the financial control process for supplier contributions and payments
- Leading product set up’s internally
- Effectively leading the systematic elements of the buying role and ensuring timely completion and process
- Leading and ensuring the E-Commerce trade for all year round and seasonal events
- Supporting on new store environments for card and party shops
- Delivering new products and handling critical paths
- Working with marketing and retail teams to deliver trade plans and events ensuring product support lands on time

**Who you are**

Your skills and experience will include
- Experience in a previous category manager or buyer role
- Excellent creative knowledge of the greeting’s cards market
- Strong interpersonal skills and being a great teammate who’s able to network across the business and build outstanding relationships with other teams
- Passion for retail and the M&S brand
- Critical Path Management
