As a Shift Operations Technician at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill. We’ve createdEnergy Recovery Centre’s, where waste that would normally go to landfill is used to create energy, offsetting the need for fossil fuels. As a Shift Operations Technician you’ll be at the heart of one of our innovative facilities, helping to generate electricityfrom a sustainable source.

**What will I be doing?**
- You’ll be working directly with critical elements of the plant, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently, in a way that complies with environmental legislation.
- You’ll have particular responsibility for the water tube boilers - sampling and analysing the water within them. You’ll also isolate plant systems if necessary to ensure the plant operates safely.

**What are the requirements?**
- With a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, you’ll have worked on an Energy Recovery facility or similar process plant environment and know how to use ancillary plant equipment.
- You’ll be familiar with boilers, process control and measurement, with knowledge of relevant health & safety and environmental legislation. Experience and certifications required for the role include a BOAS Cert IBO, IOSH working safely qualification alongwith good IT skills.
