Due to our growth, we are looking for a Stock Control Assistant to join our busy Logistics team. The Stock Control Assistant is responsible for looking after the warehouse. The goal is to ensure that all items are correctly located and there is always space for incoming goods. Additionally, you would support the booking in team by checking new goods received. You will be committed, self-motivated individual who enjoys a challenge, is able to take initiative and have a keen interest in children's clothing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking new stock
- Putting away all items which are coming back from other departments
- Making sure that all items will be scanned using the appropriate reason
- Looking after Goods Movement - Ensuring that all goods sent to other department will be compatible with picking list
- Counting all goods in the warehouse during the Stock Take with all accuracy and following the workflow
- Consolidation (to create space in the warehouse)
- Reporting missing or damaged items to Senior Stock Assistant
- Helping another department if needed (Picking & Packing, Returns, Delivery, Booking in)
- Making sure the workplace is organised and tidy
- Assisting with induction session / training
- Other duties as assigned

**Key skills**:

- Good time management
- Ability to organise, multitask and prioritise
- Good attention to detail
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player with positive attitude
- Stock room or warehouse experience is desired

This role is based at our Head Office in Tunbridge Wells. The working hours are 9:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday and 8:00 -16:00 on weekends, as per roster.
