**Position**: Store Trainer - DIY Training Concept

**Location**: Wandsworth

**Salary**: £14 per hour

**Contract**: 35 - 40 hours per week - PERM

**Our Mission / Who we are**:
After successfully pioneering an innovative new community-led concept in Spain our client is launching their first UK Retail store where several community classes will be delivered spanning across Woodwork, General DIY, and Basic Electrical to list a few.

The concept is simple yet powerful - its design, driven by social engagement is to empower the community (primarily but not exclusively women and families) by providing them with valuable DIY skills that build long-lasting confidence.

**The DIY In-Store Trainer Role**:
As a DIY In Store Trainer, you will bring to life the concept and deliver face-to-face DIY courses. Your passion, enthusiasm, and energy will play a vital role in the execution of the project. Being able to physically perform DIY is one thing but to deliver a course informatively and engagingly people will not just pay for but leave a 5* review and recommend us is another
- Deliver face-to-face DIY courses- Physically demonstrate proficient technical DIY skills whilst mentoring a class
- Empower and inspire community members
- H&S will be paramount, and you will be expected to follow all procedures regimentally
- Support the store manager in the day-to-day operation of the store

**DIY In Store Trainers will have**:

- Intermediate DIY skill level
- Experience within the DIY field / sector
- Natural training persona
- An affinity with the concept
- High emotional intelligence
- Strong training and people skills
