**Role: Senior Finance Business Partner**

**Location: Manchester (M22 5PR) - Hybrid - 2 office days per week**

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our commercial finance team based in Manchester. In this role you will be finance lead of our Health & Safety, Certification and International Networks divisions.

You will Support, challenge and drive divisional management to facilitate delivery in-line with Forecasts, Budgets & SP25, and support and facilitate margin improvement & growth in the divisions through provision of insightful, positive and forward-thinking finance expertise.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Act as a leader in within the Commercial Finance Team, helping to develop & nurture less senior talent, sharing knowledge & best-practice
- Overseeing month end close for above divisions, driving continuous improvement to meet time and quality constraints
- Ensuring Balance Sheet control for above divisions, with a particular focus on WIP & PO accruals
- Help to drive new business opportunities by contributing to and challenging Sales strategy for the divisions and modelling Sales scenarios to show impact on growth & margin
- Finance Business Partner to the Sales director, helping to develop the Sales cost budget, overall Sales budget & setting and monitoring targets to ensure alignment with budgets / forecasts and help drive accountability

**Deliverables**:

- Growth & margin improvement in the divisions in-line with budgets / forecasts
- Quality of P&L and Balance Sheet for divisions within scope of role - no surprises from a Balance Sheet perspective
- FP&A accuracy
- Reporting in compliance with Group and BV UK&I closing and reporting deadlines
- Working capital performance
- Improvements in commercial awareness in the business

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level in a related discipline
- Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience

**Experience & Skills**:

- Ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Ability to meet strict and competing deadlines and a large workload
- Problem solving skills and an analytical approach
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Natural inclination to question status quo and seek continuous improvement
- Experience of external or internal audit / balance sheet control
