**Conference Producer**

Due to continued success and growth, an exciting position has become available for a full-time Conference Producer based in Central London; the team is currently working from home. You will work 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday with flexi-time will available andwill earn £25,000-£30,000.

You will produce an exciting mix of public policy, public sector, and private sector events. Sectors include local and central government, housing, employment, energy, education and children’s services, diversity and inclusion, media, and communications,to name a few.

**Previous Experience**
- Minimum of 6 months’ work experience
- Good educational qualifications e.g. university degree or equivalent, minimum 2:1
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of events and/or public policy
- Excellent research skills and working to deadlines
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience in writing marketing copy
- IT competence

**What will your role as a Conference Producer look like?**
- Project management from inception to programme sign-off, and delivery of key targets/ deadlines for each event
- Developing and writing the event programme from start to finish
- Desk research and in-depth market research, to ensure the viability of programmes, and to maximise each topic
- Meeting, inviting and liaising with senior-level speakers, to ensure the most appropriate and appealing line-up of speakers on events
- Writing copy for marketing materials and website
- Identification of audience, commercial partners and sponsors
- Close collaboration with marketing, sponsorship sales, and operations teams to ensure commercial success
- Communicating key conference/event updates to the wider team and senior management
- Ongoing industry research to identify key trends, competitor events, new topics and alternative revenue streams
- Liaising with speakers in the lead-up to events, welcoming and acting as the main contact for speakers on the day of the conference
- Pre and post-event administration
- Budget reporting and management
- Occasional travel may be required

**Company**

Our client produces timely conferences, public policy briefings, interactive workshops and practical training across 3 brands. They will run over 100 digital events in 2021, helping to inform and impact on key topical issues facing the public and privatesector.

Politically independent, the company pride ourselves on their ability to deliver events that not only provide useful information but also contribute to important debates and shape cultural change. The company has three divisions: Westminster Insight, HolyroodInsight and Senedd Insight.
