Plumbing Supervisor

**SMR are looking for an off the tools supervisor to start in Kidlington.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of mechanical technicians and provide guidance and support
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project timelines and resources
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend improvements
- Train and mentor team members on mechanical procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
- Project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: £280.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
