**Job Title**: Production Operative
**Reports to**: Night Shift Manager
**Location**: Ledbury, HR8 2JQ
**Hours**: Monday - Friday 10pm
- 6am (Nights Fixed Shift)
**Salary**: £15.05 - £15.85 per hour (depending on experience)

A Day in The Life of a Production Operative
As a production operative, you will work as part of a team on one of our production lines to ensure the efficient production of our products. Your key requirements include:
To set up and oversee the production lines in accordance with requirements.
C arry out all production-related tasks to produce high quality and great tasting products for our well-known customers.
Be responsible for carefully and efficiently packing a variety of cheese products for distribution.
Effectively maintain accurate data records and paperwork, control of production CCP’s (Critical Control Points).
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain your workstation in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Shift Manager.
**Personal qualities and experience**: Experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential as the role will involve running machinery and equipment.
Good understanding of Food Hygiene, quality, and safety standards. You will ideally be a people person as you will be working closely in a team. Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member. A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop. A willingness to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
The role will be based within a chilled environment (less than 8 degrees) and will involve heavy lifting. Good verbal, written and numerical skills is essential.
