**Field Service Engineer**

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000

**OTE -** 7k+

**Overview**:
An industrial manufacturer of Air compressors are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent move to join a company where you would have a high level of autonomy with scope to move intoSpecialist, managerial, planning and project positions once you have established yourself within the business. The Field Service Engineer will need to have a formal qualification in Engineering and have a Mechanical bias with experience with Pumps and compressors.

**The Company**:
Our client is a market leading manufacturer of air compressor machinery serving a variety of manufacturers. The business provides a stable working environment for thousands of talented individuals worldwide contributing to the commissioning of thousandsof new compressors each year. Utilising excellent management and leadership the technical director has provided a catalyst for growth within the service department doubling the size of the service portfolio and a 100% increase in the number of service engineers.Due to the successful acquisition of leading contracts and reorganisation of the engineering hierarchy the need for a Field service engineer has arisen.

**The Role of a Field Service Engineer**:

- As a field service engineer you will be based from home managing your own work load
- On average you will be required to make 4/5 client visit a day.
- Working on Pumps and Compressors
- Your role will also include installing and commissioning, preventative maintenance,
- Flexible and proactive attitude

**Key Skills**:

- Open to the background
- ideally have experience on Pumps/Compressors
- You would have strong Mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Must have a UK driver’s license
- You would need to be able to demonstrate that you are both self-motivated and flexible to be able to meet the needs of this growing business.
