The Role

We are looking for someone bright, energetic, fresh thinking, enthusiastic, that lives and breathes printing and wants to know the craft inside out to join our team as a screen printer. You will be required to use existing screen print techniques to print onto a variety of high quality glassware, clothing and components. You will be responsible for producing work to the highest standard, within deadlines set and in accordance with our client's requirements. From printing with standard plastisol inks, to getting creative with water-based and discharge inks. Our environment is fast paced, so you will need the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The work involves - but not limited to
- Having hands on approach and willing to learn new skills
- Being confident in making decisions on high quality of work
- Being able to effectively manage your own workload to deadlines
- Ensuring correct product and artwork are being used for each job
- Mixing ink and matching to Pantone references
- Preparing the screens ready for use on the machines
- Setting up, adjusting and operating various types of equipment and machinery
- Carrying out machine set ups and make-ready procedures
- Setting up prints to ensure correct alignment of print
- Loading and operating various types of print equipment (including semi/ automatic machinery)
- Performing quality checks and ensuring products are of high quality
- Monitoring equipment and print quality and make any adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality print and proper placement
- Maintaining machine efficiency during print runs with pallet changes, ink replenishment
- Checking colour consistency and print quality during print runs
- Producing high quality products that meet our customers’ expectations.
- Cleaning down all print frames and associated equipment after a run
- Keeping work areas clean
- Being competent at handling the entire silk screen process, from making of the films to producing products
- Being able to work alone and as part of a team
- Where needed, assist in other areas of the business

**What to expect**
- Your working environment will be within our busy production area, producing a range of merch for our various customers.
- A fast paced environment with hourly targets to be met. With new technology being added, you must be adaptable and ready for change.

**Required Attributes: / Experience**
- Good level of general education. Any print related qualifications are highly advantageous.
- Able to work at a quick pace with a keen eye for quality control and detail
- Good work ethic
- Ability to use own initiative and work well without close supervision
- Personable
- Screen printing experience is desirable, however, on the top training will be provided

- Live within easily commutable distance of Gorseinon

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
