**Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)**

If this sounds like you, this is a great opportunity to join a preparatory school who are seeking a SENCO to start in **September 2024**. The role would be full-time however, we would consider part time depending on experience.

As a SENCO you will play a pivotal role in the development of the Special Educational Needs policy, overseeing this to ensure that pupils are on track towards successfully achieving their full potential. You will be a driving force in supporting and identifying pupils with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and interventions as they thrive academically and socially.

**Requirements**:

- National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices
- The ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience working as a SENCO is preferred
- Strong organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with EAL would be beneficial
