**Purpose of the Role**
- We are looking for a positive and skilled Funding Officer, with an eye for detail, to work with our services and Income Generation Team.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in collaboration, drawing on the expertise of staff across the organisation.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Working closely with colleagues to develop fundable and fully costed proposals
- Identifying appropriate funding and development opportunities through desk research and networking with funders and other relevant organisations
- Maintaining accurate and accessible records and producing regular reports
- Collecting and updating impact data to inform future bids and provide quality monitoring reports
- Liaising with project delivery and finance colleagues to track progress
- Coordinating the submission of interim or end of grant reports for small grants
- Ensuring all fundraising from charitable trusts, foundations and other sources is ethical and meets the standards set out in the Code of Fundraising Practice
- Contributing to an income generation strategy that supports our strategic aims and development plan
- Ensuring signed grant agreements and contracts are in place and filed for all small grants
- Working with the Funding Development Co-ordinator to identify and work towards personal development objectives
- Taking up opportunities for continuing personal and professional development, including mentoring and training
