Cook/Housekeeper - Live Out

Client is looking for a live out personal Cook/Housekeeper for their private residence in South Queensferry, near Edinburgh. The Cook/Housekeeper will provide a high quality cooking service to the Principals as well as daily housekeeping duties and also cover the Private Housekeepers’ role on rota’d days off.

**Duties for the Cook/Housekeeper**
- Provide high quality Cooking Service for the Principals (2 people)
- Assist the Private Housekeeper in ensuring that the Private Quarters are kept impeccably clean and secure at all times. (covering housekeeping 2 days per week when the Housekeeper is off)
- Cook for their family and friends as needed, and occasionally for charity lunches.
- Ensure that all private kitchens are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Maintain stock records, accounts and receipts of all relevant transactions.
- Housekeeping tasks will include cleaning of fire places, vacuuming, dusting, bed making, washing ironing of table linen and the care of china, crystal and silver.
- Looking after personal laundry, ironing and dry cleaning requirements.
- Liaise with the Private Housekeeper to provide care for the dogs when the Principal is unable to do so.
- To maintain a good and co-operative relationship with all staff working on the estate to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the house and the estate.

**Salary**: £26,000 per annum

**Hours**: 40 hours per week for Cook/Housekeeper 5 days out of 7 per week
