My client is seeking an experienced **IT Manager** to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on driving the company's technology strategy and ensuring seamless operation of all IT systems. You will be responsiblefor ensuring that the computer systems, server infrastructure, and communications networks are appropriate to the business' needs and operate to the peak of their efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
Network and Systems management - Active Directory, Azure Cloud, Palo Alto Firewalls, HP Serves & Switches, hyperconverged platforms, VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation, VOIP and Veeam Backup
Lead in technical planning for IT and Cyber security systems
Lead in testing and evaluation of new systems and software
Responsible for the patching, management and maintenance of all systems and networks
Manage the computer facilities, controlling and planning day to day operations to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively
Maintain system documentation in line with agreed procedures and standards

**Requirements**:
Ideally educated to degree or industry standard in relevant field (Computer Science, MCSE, CCNA)
Ideally experience in an IT management role
Strong technical knowledge of software, hardware and network systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Managing the computer facilities, controlling and planning day-to-day operations
Maintain an overall level of understanding and competence appropriate to managing the day to day running of all systems and networks including Cloud based systems
Network management - Active Directory, Switching, firewalls, VOIP
