**The Role**:
As a Nursery Practitioner in our unique setting, you will have the joy and responsibility of guiding our mixed-age group through their early years' journey in an outdoor context. You'll craft an environment where little ones can safely explore together, learning from each other and the natural world around them. Your role will be pivotal in shaping experiences that are as enriching for the babies as they are for the older children, all within the embrace of our extended nursery family.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver outdoor activities that cater to a wide range of developmental stages, from babies to preschoolers, ensuring inclusive, engaging experiences for all.
- Foster a culture of care, learning, and mutual respect among children of different ages, encouraging older children to support the younger ones and vice versa.
- Observe and document the development of each child, recognizing the unique learning journey they are on, in partnership with their mixed-age peers.
- Ensure the highest levels of safety and well-being for all children during outdoor activities, adapting to the varied needs of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to share the joys and milestones of children’s development in our mixed-age, outdoor learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education, ideally with experience or training in forest school education.
- Demonstrated experience in nurturing and educating mixed-age groups, particularly in an outdoor setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework, with the ability to tailor activities to a broad developmental spectrum.
- Passionate about outdoor education and committed to fostering a love of nature in children from the earliest age.
- Enhanced DBS check.
