Our Work and Health programme are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner. You'll be part of a team helping people with long-term health conditions, offering advice and guidance and empowering individuals to manage their health. Daily you'll be doing Biopsychosocialassessments and deliver health focused interventions. This role will really put your specialist skills, knowledge and experience to help participants with advice, guidance and support.

**Working closely with our participants you will be**:

- Providing face to face and telephone-based interventions
- Delivering workshops
- Monitoring health and wellbeing in individual and group work,
- Producing tailored health action plans for each
- Providing return to work guidance and offer in-work support as required

**This is an office based position covering Stockport.**

**It is essential that you are registered as a health professional with one or more of the following regulatory bodies as below**:

- Psychologist registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
- A Counsellor registered as an accredited practitioner with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
- An accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Mental Health Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Full accredited member of UKCP.

**This is a permanent position with a salary of £28,000. This is an office based position covering Stockport.**
