Supervisor (Nightshift)

Windyedge Care Home is a small homely residential care home who are recruiting for a Night Shift Supervisor

As the Supervisor you are responsible for the general supervision of care provision of Residents at the Home ensuring that Residents receive a complete person-centered care service and care plan. Mentoring, supervising, coaching, and assessing staff best practice is the primary focus of the role. You will be proactive in ensuring that quality care is available to all Residents through the direct monitoring and influencing of staff performance and by acting as an excellent role model, and control activities within the Home.

You should possess a good work ethic with a genuine caring nature.

You will contribute to reviewing the care plans for each resident and assist with daily activities providing residents with both physical and emotional support and personal care as required. You may also be required to assist with supporting residents at appointments and activities outside the Home.
- Knowledge / experience SVQ3
- PDA or working towards
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ensure mandatory training is up to date.
- Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements such as Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, all aspects of the National Care Standards and SSSC Code of Practice.

Registration with SSSC is required on commencement of employment

The hours are 33 per week, these will include weekend working and extra hours to cover for annual leave and sickness.
