**We have an immediate requirement for a Enforcement Officer to undertake a range of duties supporting the environmental act for a fantastic public sector organisation in Bury.
**We are seeking applicants with knowledge of Anti-Social Behaviour Acts, Conflict Management De Escalation, Housing Acts and Environmental Protections in order to be considered for this role **

**Offering immediate start, ongoing temporary work paying a great rate of £15.59p/h equivalent to £30,400 basic, weekly pay, full time hours Monday to Friday and the opportunity to support a fantastic public service for the community**

**What will you be doing as an Enforcement Officer?**
- To take the necessary pre-formal and formal action to ensure that housing standards are improved within the gardens of the community housing
- Using your great communication skills to enforce the housing standards across the district
- To identify and report safeguarding concerns and take active steps where necessary and assist in their resolution
- Enjoy multi-tasking to actively manage and maintain a caseload and take a proactive approach to brining cases to a resolution
- Your confidant in your knowledge of legislation and resilient in the delivery of the regulations to the service users
- To assist in the identification, licensing and monitoring of HMO’s and other licensable properties within the district
- Have a key part in the consultation with user groups and the wider community including attendance at, community, neighbourhood and resident groups and other public meetings as and when required
- Drafting detailed schedules of deficiencies and remedial works assisting with drafting of notices 3 supporting officers in taking formal action in respect of offences

**What skills and experience will your need as an Enforcement Officer?**
- You are confidant on your knowledge of with the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Housing Acts, Anti-Social behaviour and Crime and Policing Act 2014
- You have worked in housing enforcement or environmental awareness and enforcement roles
- Comfortable working in lone roles with no supervision
- Enjoy engaging and working in the community
- Your robust and resilient and have a skill for de-escalating challenges situations
