Hays are delighted to be working with a Public Sector organisation based in Dundee to recruit for a new P2P Specialist to join their Procurement team.
**Your new role**:
The P2P Specialist will report to the Head of Procurement and will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining Supplier records, administering the organisation Purchase Card programme, and managing Procurement specific requests in the organisationsservice management tool. The post holder will liaise with Accounts Payable ensuring that P2P process efficiencies are successfully implemented and managed while providing guidance to the organisations Requisitioners, Approvers and decision-makers and willsupport the Procurement function in delivering an effective and efficient operational service.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

- Experience in a P2P, Purchasing or Accounts Payable related role, gaining transferrable skills applicable to purchasing type activities.
- Experience of process mapping and developing policies and procedures.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office - especially skilled in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel packages.
- Experience of determining daily tasks required to managing own workload.
- Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.
- Evidence of ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in the Finance & Procurement
- Directorate, organisation-wide stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to think innovatively and find solutions to operational challenges.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and proven analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm for and ability to work in a flexible and dynamic team setting.
