Yolk Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Multiskilled Fitter to join a leading company in providing high-quality hydraulic power units, motor pump sets, and manifold assemblies. As a Multiskilled Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of hydraulic power equipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:

- Build a strong working knowledge of hydraulic power unit systems, manifold assemblies, company products and services, customers, and working practices to efficiently perform the role with attention to detail.
- Contribute to department objectives by sharing information, utilizing knowledge and skills in planning, and working for the department, providing suggestions for improvements, and participating in work area BPS (Bosch Production System) activities.
- Assemble hydraulic power equipment comprehensively and effectively by:

- Setting personal objectives, targets, and success criteria for assigned activities.
- Reading drawings, part lists, and engineering and hydraulic circuit drawings to identify correct toolings, components, and materials required for assembly.
- Ensuring assembly meets customer specifications, safety requirements, and relevant inspection and test plan criteria.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Bending pipework to correct tolerances and quality standards.
- Carrying out thorough cleansing of power units to maintain a clean and uncontaminated system.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment based on 5S principles.
- Checking stock levels and notifying team leaders of shortages or requirements.
- Communicating regularly with team members, contributing to effective teamwork.
- Conducting welding operations, including fabrication, and welding of assemblies, and providing quality assurance for butt-welded joints.
- Ensure efficient use of resources by maximizing their utilization, adhering to standards and procedures, and actively participating in the Continuous Improvement Process.
- Carry out other tasks as reasonably requested, including off-site support work, while meeting technical, quality, delivery, and health and safety requirements.

**Requirements**:

- HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Multi-skilled apprenticeship.
- Experience in sitework and installation.
