**Underwriting & Completions Consultant**

**Wolverhampton - Hybrid (3days in office)**

**£21,000-£23,000.**

**Permanent**

The key purpose of this role is to provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers whilst maintaining quality with assessment of key underwriting and completions documents. An individual and team responsibility to achieveService Level Agreements in accordance with annual targets and the Bank's policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide a consistently high quality of customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Ensure that all enquiries and complex queries relating to Underwriting and Completions are dealt with promptly, efficiently and in accordance with the Bank's service standards, policies and procedures and the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders Handbook for Conveyancers
- Respond to, Solicitors and Brokers written and verbal communication in respect of complex queries relating to Legal and Underwriting matters. Handle escalation calls from mortgage intermediaries and Solicitors.
- Arrange for the release of retentions, re-releases and Further Advances in line with the Bank's Financial and Credit mandate.
- Ensure that you fully understand and comply with the organisation's Data Governance Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day to day work that you treat data as an important corporate asset which must be protectedand managed.
- Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations.

Skill and Competency Requirements
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are essential.
- GSCE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English are essential
