**Salary**: £35,000-£40,000

Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office

Reporting into the Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsibility for the efficient, accurate and timely accounting of financial transactions, including the production of routine month-end reports
- Preparation of journals, including validating regular monthly journals as well as ad hoc manual journals as necessary
- Preparation of relevant Balance Sheet reconciliations and reviews.
- Working with team members to ensure transaction processes are fit for purpose and efficient for each company
- Communicating with the wider business to ensure all transactions are sufficiently understood and reflected

Requirement:

- Studying towards professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- GCSE Maths and English Grades A-C.
- Competent using MS Excel (VLOOKUP's and Pivot Table)
- Previous accounts experience required.
- Proficient analytical skills and high levels of attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience of Agresso accounting system is desired but not essential
