The perfect opportunity has arisen for a technical thinking individual to join the engineering team of a well establish public company.

In this role you will work within the engineering team to support them in the development of standard and bespoke components of assemblies using Autodesk Inventor and flat pattern DXF profile drawings.

In this role, you will be expected to proficiently use 2D and 3D software's, such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and Autodesk Vault.

The day to day will involve constant collaboration with the engineering team, producing 3D and sometimes 2D drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD. You will also be expected to compute timings and registers BOMs onto the ERP system accurately. Further responsibilitiescould include value engineering activities, reckoning item costs and process engineering change requests (ECO's).

The Role:

- Collaborate with the engineering team to produce standard and bespoke components and assemblies.
- Produce 3D (and potentially 2D) drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Work closely with the production team to compute timings and register BOMs onto the ERP system.
- Value engineering activities, reckoning item costs and process engineering change requests (ECO's).

The Person:

- Someone who is well practiced using Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault.
- Comes from a background in manufacturing.
- Someone with good time management and problem solving skills.
- Someone with 2 years' industry experience.
