**Position**:Professional Indemnity Account Executive
**Location**: London (flexible home working)
**Salary**: £50,000 - £80,000 +bonus / benefits
The client is a leading global independent broker. They are highly regarded in the market for their technical service given to clients and excellent career opportunities for colleagues. Offering a vast range of cover across a range of industries they canmanage any risk required for a successful business. This role sits within the ProFin division with a focus on PI and associated policies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a portfolio of clients within regulated financial services, including IFA's, MGA's, Wealth Managers, Insurance Brokers for UK retail clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing them with expert advice and guidance.
- Identify and source new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and other channels.
- Work closely with underwriters to place insurance policies that meet the needs of clients, negotiating terms and premiums where necessary.
- Manage the full broking process, including preparing submissions, obtaining quotes, and presenting options to clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
**Qualifications**:
- At least 5 years of experience in professional indemnity insurance, with a focus on regulated financial services.
- Strong knowledge of professional indemnity insurance policies and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of the UK retail market and the needs of clients within regulated financial services.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and underwriters.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional qualifications such as ACII or progress towards them are desirable.
