**Role**:

- Work proactively and collaboratively with colleagues across the business to build, implement, develop and maintain a pipeline of commercial opportunities to achieve a revenue growth across the whole commercial delivery portfolio.
- Maximising the member value proposition through this work, in addition to driving sustainable targeted commercial revenue growth.
- Devise, implement and ongoing management of a process to ensure we respond to Member demand for products and services (including Events and Training) in a timely and effective manner.
- Own the current Commercial Opportunities process from instigation through to Operational Committee review and implementation, ensuring it is continually evolved, improved and developed.
- Act as the point of contact for all commercial ideas and opportunities generated from within the business and seek to improve volume and quality of such idea generation.
- Responsibility for managing the Business Development portfolio against the agreed net commercial income budget.

**You will need**:

- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to realise them. This is a high-profile role working within the highest levels of the financial services sector.
- Deep experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior industry individuals.
- Demonstrable expertise in Business Development principles and practice.
- Project management experience and competencies.
- Excellent people leadership skills, with experience of shaping, motivating and developing (virtual) multi-disciplinary teams.
- Advanced presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience of successfully managing complicated budgets, including having responsibility for revenue streams.
