The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring. We operate a network of around 100 campsites and have a membership of over 340,000 households.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Commercial Insights to oversee our dedicated Insights Team of nine employees.

You will also support the Director of Commercial Insight with wider strategic work and forecast business modelling and revenue planning.

It's an exciting time to join the organisation and be a part of our continued growth. The Club have invested into key new systems, this gives a unique opportunity to develop strategies on how data capture and insight are utilised, continuing to be central to decision making.

**Key duties will include**:

- Manage, coach, and supervise the Insights team.
- Identify and propose opportunities for the Club and to provide suggestions, updates and reports to senior management.
- Understand the campsite network commercial dynamics, the key drivers at site and network level and use commercial insight to help prioritise capital spend across the network.
- Develop and elevate data and insights capabilities across the organisation, acting as the champion for best practice.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Digital and Marketing to grow sales and income.
- Offer insight into how the network be evolved over time to drive EBIDA growth.
- To be a thought leader, keeping abreast of external trends and developments and changing circumstances to adapt the role, team focus and department accordingly.
- Take responsibility for reporting via Power BI, Excel and SSRS of all products, services and data driven initiatives to develop the Club’s reporting capabilities.
- Oversee commercial modelling of existing and new opportunities and assess viability.
- Pricing strategy development across all products, including leading on dynamic pricing and longer-term planning.
- Prioritise multiple stakeholder requirements, build strong internal relationships and help digital to reinforce the brand’s strategic objectives.
- Be hands on with data and reporting, lead by example in your approach to data, analysis, and insight generation.

**To be considered for this post you should have the following skills or experience**:

- Advanced Level of Power BI, Excel, SSRS and SQL
- Significant experience of a similar role with focus on commercial insight
- Significant experience of leading and developing commercially focussed teams
- Strong understanding of profit and loss, and financial performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A degree in Business, Data Science or Economics, is desirable.

As part of our newly introduced hybrid working pattern, you will be required to work in the office on Monday and Wednesday each week, with the option of working from home on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Working hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.

**Salary**: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
