**CNC Punch Operator**
**£14.53 per hour**
**Knowsley**
**Temporary to Permanent**
**Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm (37 hours per week)**

A well-established manufacturing company in Knowsley are seeking an experienced CNC Punch Operator to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £14.53 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis. Full training is also offered in this position.
- The main duties of a Semi-Skilled Operative are:
- Setting and operating an LVD CNC punch machine.- Loading and unloading of sheet material.- Reading and interpreting drawings.- Selecting correct tools for each job.- Managing regrinds.- Working with thin gauge materials typically between 1.2 to 2.0mm mild steel and stainless steel.- Working to a predetermined list from the MRP system.- Checking quality of parts produced.- Ensuring exemplary housekeeping standards to both work area and machine.- Performing other duties as required by Supervisor/Manager.- Strict adherence to company H&S policy and standard operating procedures.-
- Have experience in a manufacturing/tool-based environment.- Have experience operating CNC Punch machines.- Have a high work ethic and eagerness to learn.- Ideally have experience of Raydan Software Advantageous.- Have good understanding of how punch tools work, and the ability to determine when the tool is worn and ready for regrind.-
