Consultant Biochemist

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Clinical Biochemistry Team. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with our strong clinical, scientific, laboratory and quality teams to actively support the Clinical lead in further developing the clinical biochemistry service and in the provision of training to more junior clinical scientists as part of our succession planning.

With the merger of two Hospital Trusts in 2018 (Ipswich and Colchester) into the single East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT), we are working towards further harmonisation of our clinical service model and team working across sites. You will be part of a team of 2 Consultant Biochemists (including this post), one Consultant Chemical Pathologist, 2 Principal grades and one Senior Biochemist (HSST - enrolled) together with 2 STP trainees.
