Mobile Plant Mechanic

Our fleet consists of specialist waste handling plant, loading shovels, high-rise material handlers, telehandlers, LCVs and HGVs.

Our workshop is in Cranleigh, Surrey, so you will need to be located within a reasonable distance of this premises. Much of our work is within the M25, although we have machines and vehicles in other areas of the UK. We are looking for a mobile mechanic who will travel to our clients' sites. If you want a job with variety then this role could suit you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose & repair mechanical problems on diesel powered plant and vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
- Complete weld repairs.
- Test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly.
- Use diagnostic tools.
- Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Keep records of work performed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cranleigh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
