NATS is the UK's leading air navigation service provider, handling over 2 million flights each year. It provides air traffic control services from two control centres supporting airports all around the UK, as well as a wide range of commercial solutionsto over 30 countries internationally.

**Purpose of the role**:

- To carry out administrative activity within the People Services team to support day to day operations and provision of excellent customer service.
- To provide support to HR, Talent Acquisition Teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Aid with general administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, to include maintaining and updating employee files and other records, providing employment references, as well as basic HR system administration tasks, in accordance with GDPR legislationand the agreed SLA.
- Support the day-to-day management of the HR case management system by triaging queries as they are submitted, providing a response to any basic queries, and assigning those more complex to the appropriate colleagues / teams to respond, in line with theagreed SLA.
- Provide administrative support for onboarding activity e.g., conducting pre-employment right to work checks and preparing security annexes.
- Attend meetings and provide minutes and action logs as required.
- Responsible for any scanning and filing e.g., Fitness for Work certificates, to ensure records are maintained.
- Support departmental purchasing procedures by carrying out invoicing receipting and requisitioning activity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the department and customer experience as appropriate.
- Support the team in completing other designated assignments that may have competing priorities.

**Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Personal Qualities**:

- Experience in a busy administrative / support role is essential, as is the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
- A basic level of knowledge relating to HR issues and/or working within an HR function would be desirable.
- Previous experience of customer service delivery and knowledge of GDPR compliance is also desirable.
- A good level of IT literacy and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Displays a positive and pro-active approach to tasks.
- Demonstrates and displays a good understanding of effective teamwork, with a drive for helping others.
