ACA is a charitable organisation providing free, confidential alcohol counselling for individuals who are concerned about their own or a loved one’s drinking.

Our Administrator has a vital role in supporting the team and welcoming those who attend the service, often being the first person that they see.

If you want to make a difference to people’s lives, thrive working in a busy office environment and are able to juggle a wide range of administrative tasks then this may be the job for you.

**About the Job**

ACA is a very busy service therefore a smooth running administration team is essential to help us achieve our aims. As you are the first point of contact welcoming visitors into our service, it is vital that you give a positive first impression, therefore we are looking for someone who has excellent people skills and is not easily flustered.

This is an interesting & varied role from greeting the individuals who use our service, providing administration support to our Counsellors & Service Manager to ensuring that our databases are kept up to date for monitoring purposes.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm & Friday 9am to 4pm with one hour for lunch. You will be based within our Ayr office.

**Essential Skills**
- A self-motivated individual
- Experience of providing high quality administration support within a busy environment
- Confidence in working collaboratively as part of a team
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- A good standard of Maths & English (verbal & written)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise & manage your time, working to deadlines
- Attention to detail with good analytical skills
- Excellent IT skills including database management

Pay: £19,150.00 per year
