**Position Statement**:
The position will be responsible for the strategic overview and coordination of the planning and implementation of Capital Expenditure projects across the Managed Estate of Hilton branded hotels in the EMEA region. The person in this role will be responsible for supporting the generation of capital plans for all hotels for front of house and back of house projects, including liaising with owners to establish their strategic goals for the properties.

Once the projects are approved, the position will be responsible for ensuring that all projects implemented in accordance with internal processes and integrating all required Hilton and owner stakeholders within the project. The projects will need to be planned and coordinated with the owner's professional team and the Hilton internal team to ensure that all Hilton requirements are met and brand standards are complied with.

The role will require analytical reporting and management of projects to ensure all Hilton stakeholders are kept informed of progress and issues that arise.

The role will report into the Operations team but will be seconded into the EMEA Architecture Design and Construction team.

**Position Summary**:
The programme management element of the position will require an in-depth knowledge of the Hilton branded Managed Estate in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) to ensure strategic direction and support is given to the hotels to create annual capital plans for submission as part of the annual budgeting process.

The project management element of the position will entail being the Hilton principal point of support and contact for all project stakeholders, both within Hilton as well as for the owner and the owner's professional team, during the design, construction, pre
- and post-completion stages of major projects within the Managed Estate.

Further detail on the role is as follows:
Programme Management/Capital Planning
- Develop and implement a consistent and accurate process for the planning, preparation and approval of annual CAPEX plans.
- Overview of the capital planning process for the Managed Estate and ensuring that projects are planned sufficiently in advance to ensure appropriate projects and budgets are assigned to the project during the capital planning process.
- Ensure all capital projects are submitted for review and approval through the relevant Hilton systems.
- Ensure the timely registration of the approved projects in PIM and subsequent coordination with the AD&C; team where relevant.
- Liaisons with owners and Operations teams on a regular basis to identify any opportunities that could be developed within the hotels to improve their condition and performance.
- Extensive interaction with the Operations, Food and Beverage, IT and Operations Engineering teams to ensure internal alignment in the early stages of development of the project.

Project Implementation
- Develop and implement processed and procedures for the implementation of capital expenditure projects in the Managed Estate within EMEA and strategic overview of the design and construction process on major capital expenditure projects.
- Preparing internal Hilton reports on a monthly basis for all major projects for senior stakeholders.
- Give direction on reviews of architectural, engineering documents and proposals at all stages of the design and construction process: Preparing associated reports and correspondence.
- Provide project leadership on major capital expenditure projects on behalf of Hilton and act as main liaison and focus point between the in-house specialists, the owner and their design teams, to ensure the free flow of information and design input from Hilton throughout the design development and construction periods.
- Coordinate the full and comprehensive internal reviews of architectural, engineering and fit-out design submissions at all stages of the design and construction process.
- Raise any areas of non-compliance with owners or internal teams and recommend appropriate measures to rectify any such non-compliance.
- Provide ownership with the necessary support to enable the seamless integration of the operation of the hotel with the execution of the project.
- Carry out site inspections of the project works in progress, to ensure full compliance with Hilton design and construction and operational standards, as well
