A well-established manufacturer and renowned expert in flexible packaging market, seen as market leaders in sustainable flexible packaging utilising cutting edge offset print technology with modern state of the art flexible packaging based offset printing presses.

Manufacturing processes include printing, lamination, and coating technology, as well as various finishing processes including slitting and warehousing.

We supply global, blue-chip customers in various industries.

As a result of our continued expansion and growth as market leaders in our sector we are looking to recruit print trainees across our production department.

You will be running cutting edge print equipment at the forefront of the market, producing the most advanced flexible packaging material in the world.

As a skilled operator you will be trained in running the latest offset printing machines and troubleshooting technical issues on the press.

The role is shift based (rolling 3 on, 3 off).

You will be fully supported as part of our world leading in-house training programme running the only machinery of its type in the UK.

**Responsibilities**
- To follow the training program set out by the company in order to become a fully fledged print operator.
- Pre-press duties whilst going through the training program, including assisting experienced printers to learn pre-press process.
- Complete administrative production control sheets where applicable.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety objectives.
- Maintain a manufacturing environment to the standard of various governing bodies (BRC etc).

- Flexible approach to covering holidays and other shifts on short notice.
- Ability to complete administration accurately including use of good numeracy skills.

**Location**: Cheriton, Folkestone, Kent

**Hours**: Full-Time 42 hours per week (12 hour shift, 3 on 3 off shift system including nights and weekends)

**Salary/ benefits**:
**Once trained**:
**Earnings: OTE £39-41k upon successful l completion of the training programme.**

**Salary of print operator made up of basic of £26,840-£34,000 plus bonus potential based on performance.**

**Starting salary during training dependant on existing experience £26,840 - £32,000**

**Contract type**:Full-Time / Permanent
