**About us**

Patch’s dog grooming is a small business in Rotherham. We are professional, agile and fun.

We're looking to add an experienced member of staff to our team we are a small family run business who have an excellent reputation and have gained a good base of clients over the 11 years we've been open. We don't believe in % targets, we care about the welfare of the dogs and the satisfaction of customers. We aren't a revolving door of staff we want someone who is willing to work and continue to work with us. we pride our self on a friendly supportive environment, everyone helps eachother and we are a team.

Working with us you should
- Ensure that grooms are carried out in a reasonable time frame and to the standard set

Be able to communicate well with customers

Be able to deal with busy and quiet periods

Be able to groom all breeds, sizes & temperaments

Be able to book and manage client appointments. We don't use an electric system we have a good old fashion appointment book so no IT experience needed

Be able to open & close the salon

Be able to cover shifts when needed

Respond to messages, missed calls enquiries etc

ocassionaly assist with social media

recommend clients use other services we provide

assist clients who wish purchase items for sale within the salon

assist clients to book next appointments at check out

Be driven to work and physically able to stand and mamage dogs of all sizes

Communicate in good time to business owner requirements for:

- all forms of grooming and cleaning supplies.
- Equipment - blade/sciasor sharpening

Schedule:

- choose your own working days. Min 5 days per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16,500.00-£28,600.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Dog grooming in a Salon or self employed: 1 year (required)
