**Junior Software Trainer**

**Location**: Hybrid role - Haddenham (HP17 8LJ) and home

**Salary**: £21,255 per annum

Our client is currently seeking an individual to support the growth in their Customer Success team. This is a permanent opportunity, based in their Haddenham office (HP17), where they operate a hybrid working model providing a balance of home and officeworking.

In this role, the company will give you the tools, training and hands on experience to become effective in delivering phone-based training to customers using one or more of their in-house developed software solutions. This role will have a particular focuson Defaqto Engage, which is end-to-end financial planning software.

You don’t need to have worked in financial services or software training before, but you do need to be a quick learner who’s prepared to swiftly develop an in-depth knowledge of how the financial advice market operates in the UK and how their software supportsadvisers to deliver professional, efficient and compliant advice.

**What you'll be doing**
- Contacting customers requiring training on the company's software solutions, identifying their needs and talking them through the relevant system
- Training customers to understand how to use the software effectively and how to interpret our data appropriately
- Developing and maintaining a good understanding of:

- Defaqto Engage, how Advisers make use of it, and how it can deliver high levels of value to Advisers
- The company's other products/services and how they are used by clients
- The key issues/developments impacting the UK financial services industry
- Actively promoting high levels of usage by customers
- Providing cover for regular web/telephone-based user training for Defaqto Engage
- Participating in the testing of new software products/releases

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Capable of quickly learning new software
- An interest in, and willingness to learn about, the financial services industry and financial products
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner and confident outbound calling skills
- Good interpersonal skills, including strong team working skills
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Strong track record of helping customers
- Passionate about excellent relationship management
- Positive and proactive, you use your initiative and take responsibility - you are prepared to go the extra mile to deliver optimal results for the business
- Flexible, 'can do’ approach with a positive response to change
