**Desktop. Work. Projects.**

We are looking for a **Senior Infrastructure Engineer** to work within our Project Delivery team. Our aim is to provide a modern, reliable and flexible service that allows simple, secure access for deployment and management of modern desktopdevices, using industry best practice for:
Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, M365

Windows 10 Config, Security and Update approaches

Supporting Desktop Technologies to allow seamless integration to the whole End User Desktop experience.

**Day to day you will**:

- Act as an escalation point to provide Design, Support, advice and guidance for issues relating to all Desktop technologies previously mentioned.
- Produce High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Installation Guides and Operational Guides
- Represent the Desktop team on the Change Advisory Board, Design Advisory, Technical Review Board and other associated governance, planning and oversight meetings
- Review requests for non-standard work to accurately assess impact on Desktop owned services as well as the wider DWP.
- Transfer knowledge and upskilling to other members of the Desktop team
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Desktop Services Roadmap.

**What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?**
- Experience of producing detailed and accurate High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Installation Guides and Operational Guides.
- 3rd line knowledge of Intune, W10 Desktops at the Enterprise level 30k Devices and above.
- 3rd line experience of Core Infrastructure Components Azure, AAD, Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / ADFS / GPO / CSP, Configuration Profiles, Enrolment Profiles, Virtualisation.
- Experience of working in a large, multi-supplier environment.
- Experience of technical-change impacting and performing changes in a live service environment.
- Experience Enterprise Scale MDM. Software Deployment and Desktop Management.
