**Programme Planner - Maidenhead, Berkshire - Salary of £55,000 to £60,000 + Bonus, Car Allowance and Private Healthcare**

Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose electro-mechanical and electronic equipment based near Maidenhead.

Due to a planned expansion, and succession planning for the next two to three years, they are actively looking for an experienced Programme Planner to join the organisation as soon as possible.

**Programme Planner - Job Role**:
**Programme Planner - Responsibilities**:
Implementation and administration of the planning enterprise solution.

Lead on planning activity and develop schedules whilst developing best practice in planning and reporting.

Provide expert advice on planning for team members and the PMO function.

Challenge and test project assumptions to ensure that plans are realistic and achievable.

Support the project/programme manager to identify options to optimise delivery through resource smoothing, resource levelling and rescheduling of activities.

Ensure clear translation of project requirements, constraints, and prerequisites within the programme schedules.

Ensure that stakeholder responsibilities and needs are understood and addressed in reporting arrangements.

Monitor and analyse information, reporting progress, slippage and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.

Provide expert advice on planning processes throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Develop the planning and controls service offering relevant to business and programme requirements.

**Programme Planner - Experience Required**:
Relevant degree within a technical, business or project management field.

Experience either as a programme planner or a senior planner

At least 3-5 years’ experience planning major projects within a technical environment.

Expert in the use of Primavera planning tools and methodologies

Expert in the use of Microsoft Project planning tool

Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to present technical and complex information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience

Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment

Experience managing and influencing internal and client interfaces

Strong commercial and contractual awareness
