We're looking for an experienced Care-Coordinator to join our Home Care management team here at Vermuyden Care, based at Ornhams Hall nr Boroughbridge we cover Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Thirsk, Easingwold and all the other green bits in between.

In this role, you'll be supervising and supporting our care team and ensuring our clients are receiving excellent care.
What will you be doing?
As a Care-Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of staff work patterns to ensure a quality service is delivered. You will also ensure all care staff are supported in their role and will assist with spot checks and staff reviews, you will need the professional skills to communicate with clients, GP's, Social Workers, and families, dealing with concerns and complaints and exercising your duty of candour at all times.
A requirement to cover care calls when necessary is included within the role. Ensuring all client care is covered is a core element of this role, alongside developing your ability to train staff in care skills. (Full training qualifications will be provided where required).
What does an excellent Care-Coordinator look like?
- **Previous experience as a Care Coordinator is essential**, with preference given to those familiar with **People Planner and Access Care Planner**;
- You will need your own vehicle for work purposes and able to travel around the region;
- You will have sound knowledge of the UK social care sector and regulatory framework;
- A Health & Social Care professional qualification is an advantage;
- Full, valid UK / EU driving license;
- Great communication skills - written and verbal;
- Highly organized, with a flexible approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year for first 3 months probationary period, rising to £24,000 per year upon completion. A generous bonus is also paid based on active care hours.
