Fitter & Whitemetaller

**Job Purpose**:
To be an active member of the production team working within the Fitting & Whitemetaling Departments to meet the requirements of repair of bearings and other rotating equipment for the oil and gas industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hand fitting, including deburring, shot blasting, tapping, reaming and soldering
- Material preparation including, shot blasting, painting and lapping
- Bedding, hand scraping and sizing of white metal diameters and surfaces
- Surface grinding
- Assembly of components
- Welding as and when required

**Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience**:

- Previous experience in the same or similar role, with working knowledge of hand tools
- Good hand tool fitting skills including deburring, shot blasting, tapping, reaming and soldering
- Must have proven team-working skills
- Manual Handling experience is essential
- Welding experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
