Csr Apprentice

**The Role**:

We are looking for an apprentice to join our team as Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner / Careers Enterprise Advisor
- Promote the company vision and encourage all employees to take an active role in sharing its values
- Help develop the ongoing strategy for corporate responsibility and sustainability
- Keep up to date with policy and legislation
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Visit sites and offices to identify where changes / improvements could be made
- Report on activities for our internal Thrive portal
- Help with social value activities
- Build relationships with schools local to our offices to increase school engagement across the business
- Aid in the communication of all CSR activities
- Have the ability to use your initiative
- Work well with others
- Have a positive attitude
- Be highly motivated and target driven
- Have an interest in social and environmental change

Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential.

**Skills & Experience**:
While some courses may have specialist requirements for the role; overall we’d be keen to hear from you if you evidence the below:

- Keen interest in the industry and developing your skills in a hands-on environment
- Understand the importance of complying with site and company rules
- Ability to use initiative
- A ‘can-do’ and proactive attitude
- Good standard of English (this will be evaluated through the apprenticeship to pass functional skills)
