_Please note this role is hybrid and requires at least one day in our Birmingham office in Brindley Place._

We are looking for a middle-weight designer to join Radiant Agency to help grow the creative team and work alongside our other designer and under the Lead Designer while collaborating with our client services team and developers. You’ll be playing a pivotal role in the company, working on various brands and projects from the get-go.

Working with our Lead Designer, you will have training and support where needed to advance your knowledge of UX/UI and Shopify. Radiant Agency offers a clear progression for those who thrive from challenges and engage within the company.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Working independently and with our Lead Designer to produce a range of D2C Shopify websites for a variety of clients in fashion, lifestyle, food & beverages
- Creating low fi low-wireframes and converting these into high-quality polished design outcomes in both Desktop and mobile formats with potential prototyping elements applied
- Being introduced to clients in workshops and kick-off calls
- Using Hotjar and Google Analytics to review data to help inform design decisions
- Identify and troubleshoot UI / UX issues on retainer clients
- Making an impact within the design team with possible room to introduce new policies and processes where suitable to enhance the team further
- Creating concept designs for the commercial team to support prospective client

**Requirements**:

- 3-4 years of experience either within an agency, in-house, or freelance e-commerce work
- E-commerce experience is essential
- You have a strong portfolio with case studies that show off your design skills, we’re looking for quality over quantity
- You love being within a small group and are able to communicate well
- You know how to problem-solve and overcome issues in creative ways
- You respond well to guidance but understand when to challenge feedback
- Meeting clients is something you enjoy and are comfortable doing
- Excellent time management skills
- You are able to understand and use Hotjar and other data capturing software.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with Shopify

**Interview Process**
- 1st stage: Google hangout cultural meeting and portfolio review with myself but also gives you a chance to get to know the business more.
- 2nd Stage: Google hangout or onsite interview to present the design task back to myself and James Lane (CEO) and to run through additional questions.
