If the last time you sighed at a miss-spelt sign was just yesterday, then we might have the perfect role for you. We are seeking a pedant: a detail-oriented and skilled Proofreader and Document Coordinator to join our Marketing Team to whip our writing into the best shape possible.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and edit various documents, including but not limited to reports, proposals, tenders, presentations, articles, and marketing materials, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and consistency errors
- Ensure that all documents/publications adhere to company style guidelines, branding standards, and legal requirements
- Verify facts, dates, statistics, and references to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Coordinate document workflows, including receiving, tracking, and distributing documents for review and approval
- Manage document version control, ensuring proper naming conventions and organisation of files
- Maintain and update the documentation library, ensuring easy accessibility and accurate record keeping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective document management and timely completion of tasks
- Develop and implement document control processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding documentation standards, formatting, and quality requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in grammar, style, and document management tools

**Other Responsibilities**
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate a smooth customer experience and journey
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Training Qualifications UKs products and services
- Undertake other duties considered within your skill set and competence to assist in the smooth running of the business as required
- Work collaboratively with other departments in the organisation to drive quality improvement and support the company and team in achieving their objectives

**Key Requirements**
- Proven experience as a Proofreader, Editor, or Document Coordinator, preferably in a professional setting
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy under tight deadlines
- Proficient in using document management software, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of document control processes, version control, and record-keeping best practices
